Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain ABB 800xA Batch DCS in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Develop and implement batch control strategies, automation solutions, and system improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process engineers, IT specialists, and validation teams to support production goals.

Support system validation, commissioning, and qualification activities to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and industry standards.

Develop and update technical documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Provide training and technical support to end users and other engineering personnel.

Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in automation and process control.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

3+ years of experience working with ABB 800xA Batch DCS in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of GMP regulations, FDA guidelines, and validation processes.

Proficiency in batch processing, automation protocols, and control system design.

Experience with scripting and database management (SQL, VBA, Python) is a plus.
