Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer

Objectives:

• Design and develop machine learning algorithms and deep learning applications for recommendation systems.
• Ensure algorithms generate accurate product recommendations.
• Build prototypes and apply appropriate machine learning algorithms and tools.
• Construct optimized data pipelines to feed machine learning models.
• Design and develop machine learning tests and experiments, and document findings and results.
• Train, fine-tune, and monitor machine learning systems and models.
• Apply methods and technologies related to Large Language Models (LLMs), from model fine-tuning to prompt engineering.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a machine learning engineer or in a similar role.
• Impeccable analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong background in math and computer science, with a deep understanding of probability, statistics, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
• Familiarity with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• 5+ years of experience in the field.
• Experience in Financial Services, particularly within a startup environment, is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with a focus on innovation and adaptability.
• Experience in building scalable machine learning solutions that address specific financial industry challenges, such as risk assessment, fraud detection, or customer segmentation.
• A strong understanding of financial products and services, along with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into machine learning models.
