Key Responsibilities
Design and implement machine learning and deep learning models for production use.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field (PhD a plus).
Strong programming skills in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and experience with ML frameworks and libraries.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and deploying AI models in production environments.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

As an early-stage startup, we’re looking for a Founding Engineer who’s excited to help build both our product and our company from the ground up.
What You'll Do
Architect, build, and own ClinBI’s core platform — from backend systems to data pipelines and APIs.
Collaborate with the founding team to define product direction, roadmap, and priorities.
Design and implement solutions for ingesting, processing, and analyzing large-scale clinical and biomedical data.
Establish and promote best practices in code quality, testing, security, and scalability.
Hire and mentor future engineering team members as we scale.
Help shape ClinBI’s technical culture and ways of working.
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally with exposure to data-heavy applications.
Strong backend skills (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js) and experience designing scalable systems and APIs.
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Passion for building products that solve meaningful real-world problems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you’re comfortable working across disciplines.
Forward Deployed Engineer

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll be on the front lines of delivering our technology to customers. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their workflows, customize and deploy solutions, and ensure our products deliver real value. You’ll need to wear multiple hats — part engineer, part consultant, part product thinker.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate closely with customers to understand their technical and business challenges.
Design, customize, and deploy Scope’s AI-powered solutions in customer environments.
Build integrations, APIs, and workflows that connect Scope’s products to customer systems.
Solve complex technical problems, balancing speed and scalability.
Act as a technical advisor and advocate for customers, influencing product direction based on real-world feedback.
Work with the engineering team to harden and scale solutions for broader deployment.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with customer-facing or consulting exposure.
Strong coding skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages.
Experience building APIs, integrations, or data pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Excellent problem-solving skills — you’re comfortable tackling ambiguous, open-ended challenges.
Strong communication and collaboration skills — you can translate between customer needs and technical solutions.
